Gaining access to the APMP Body of Knowledge

APMP and the Business Development Institute are making major upgrades to the Body of Knowledge. APMP members have full access to a searchable database of articles, presentations, and a new wiki site on best practices for proposal management. To log in, you will need your e-mail address and your APMP member number. If you don't know your member ID and password, you can get it by entering your e-mail address in the "Forgot Your Password" box. If you have not yet registered yourself as an APMP member, go to www.apmp.org and click on Member Login. You can go to your member profile, and your member number is at the top of the profile. After you log in for the first time, you can change your password -- it's easy to make it the same password as the one you use for APMP's web site. If you aren't yet registered as a member on APMP's web site, don't hesitate. Soon, many of the valuable features will move into a "members only" area.

The Body of Knowledge is a joint effort of APMP and the Business Development Institute International. The site includes a repository of APMP articles and presentations, plus a Wiki site for ongoing discussion. An overview of the Body of Knowledge, presented by Charlie Divine at our July 17, 2008, meeting, is available for download.

The guest log-in for the Body of Knowledge is still working, although it will be disabled soon. Guests may log in using the user name BDguest and the password BDsite!.

Below are copies of presentations made at past APMP-SOCAL general meetings. Materials from Training Day Symposia are not included. We regret that we cannot provide a search utility for these documents at this time. If there are any members out there who are good with web tools and databases, please contact our webmaster to talk about upgrading this page.
